Vision
Changes in musical trends, technology, and culture have had a significant impact on both business and private life. As we look to the future, we envision the following:
• Music will continue to be a significant element of world culture and the entertainment industry. People simply love to listen, dance, and be entertained.
• Individuals (fans) will enjoy a gradually increasing amount of discretionary time, both on and off the job. This puts them in a position to turn to music for entertainment, both live and recorded.
• The music industry will continue to diversify. There is no single “most popular” musical style, as there has not been a “mass market” for some years now. This opens the door to unique musical entertainment and music businesses, which did not exist or could not flourish before.
• The business world and the creative world will stabilize its relationship over time.
As we learn and develop business skills, business people will come to understand the value of our music and the role of entertainment in daily life.
• The two (business and music) will peacefully coexist. In other words, a music person or group like Bulwhip Entertainment does not need to “sell out” (compromise quality) in order to be financially successful.
